Project Description:
On 2013, Puma Energy Caribe, LLC began refurbishing the former CAPECO Bayamón LPG Terminal for Propane and Butane Distribution. MEC was contracted to provide engineering services for pipeline from Puma’s dock to storage tanks at the Terminal and through a new pump manifold to their truck loading facilities and back to the dock. The foundations structural design for all Storage bullet tanks was part of the design scope.

Project Description:
On 2010 LAESA, Ltd. in the Dominican Republic (DR) initiated an LNG conversion to their 32 MW $38 million Wärtsilä Power Generation Plant. The system consist of two cryogenic vertical tanks, day tank, cryogenic pumps, vaporizers, Mercaptan injection system and a control room. MEC was contracted to provided Civil & Structural Design Services. LAESA began using LNG in 2011.

Project Description:
This bid was awarded to RG Engineering, Inc. This project consists of the design, supply, installation and construction of two (2) X 3MW generator sets including site, switchyard, auxiliaries, underground 2-mile transmission line and tanks at Vieques, Puerto Rico. RGE contracted MEC to provide the complete design of the project.

Design, supply, installation and commissioning of a plant generating 60 MW of capacity in the Dominican Republic at a cost of $ 65 million. Using technology and Wartsila generation equipment, MEC completed the design, supervision and construction management for the project, which included the commissioning of four ( 4) engines 8 MV and four (4) 7 MV engines.

The second generation plant of 51 MW of installed capacity was developed in Pimentel, Dominican Republic at a cost of $ 60. Using technology and Wartsila generation equipment, MEC completed the design, supervision and construction management for the project. This project consists of 3 MV generators 17 each for a total of 51 MV .
