MEC Engineering, P.S.C. (MEC), is a multidiscipline Professional Services Corporation with professional engineers registered in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Island for the purpose of providing engineering and design services with offices located in the San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Company, itself and through its predecessors, has been engaged in capital project work, in Puerto Rico and the USVI since 1998. These have involved engineering, design, facility construction management, and numerous power generation and transmission projects. We are multidiscipline organization with capabilities, which include all elements of design such as process, electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, architectural, and instrumentation systems. Our specialists provide expertise in such areas as site development, power generation, high voltage substations, transmission and distribution lines, fuel storage facilities, and fire protection systems.
Our services are available in any combination from one-of-a-kind engineering/architectural tasks to turnkey facilities. The nature of our assignments has included design and construction of new facilities as well as modification and renovation of existing operations. These disciplines are well supported by experienced specialists in project controls, procurement, and project administration.
Our staff has performed complete engineering, procurement, construction and construction management services for a wide variety of process facilities.
